Ryan also provides sports care and medical assistance for Premier grade Rugby. Previously Ryan played basketball for WA State and since has worked with NBL 1 Basketball teams, WAFL and WAAFL for the past 9 years.
Ryan was born and raised in Perth and went on to complete all University undergraduate and post-graduate degrees here in Perth (including a five-year double degree). While previously working as a Respiratory Sleep Scientist in public and private hospitals, Ryan now combines all clinical knowledge to provide the best evidence-based approach. Lewis graduated as a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the University of Western Australia and has ever since been working full-time in private clinics around the Perth metropolitan and rural regions.
Lewis is experienced across a wide range of conditions affecting the foot and ankle, which has allowed him to develop specific skills in general foot care, high-risk foot assessment and musculoskeletal injury.
Lewis has a strong interest in Biomechanics, Sports injury therapy and rehabilitation techniques. Additionally, Lewis is able to help with all aspects of Podiatric foot care such as ingrown toenail surgery, orthotics and general foot care.
Lewis values the importance of being active and pain-free especially when on your feet. This is why he strives to deliver the upmost care when managing conditions impacting the foot and ankle.
